Privacy Policy
Draft — pending legal review. Last updated: [DATE].
This policy explains what information Dorneon collects when you visit this website or send us a project, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to dorneon.com and does not cover the private, individually-addressed presentation pages we sometimes send to a specific recipient — see “Private project presentations” below.
1. Who we are
This site, operating under the brand Dorneon, is operated by BlackBridge Creative Technologies [confirm exact registered legal suffix — Ltd. / Limited / other], registered in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), with a registered address at ODTÜ KALTEV, Kalkanlı, Güzelyurt, North Cyprus. For any question about this policy or your information, contact us at privacy@dorneon.com.
2. Information you provide to us
When you send us a project through our contact form, we collect: your full name, phone number and company or developer name (required); your email address (optional); and the materials you choose to share — a Google Drive link, a sales page link, and/or files you upload directly. We also record the IP address the submission was sent from, which we use for fraud-prevention purposes such as detecting duplicate or abusive submissions. We keep this IP address for one year, after which it is permanently removed from your submission record; the rest of the record is retained as described in Section 6.
3. Information we collect automatically
We use two tiers of website analytics.
Without your consent, we collect only aggregate, anonymous information that is never linked to you personally: page view counts, session duration and bounce rate in aggregate, traffic source, device and browser type, approximate country/city-level location derived from an anonymized IP address, the general path visitors take through the site, aggregate scroll depth, which filters or search terms are used, error/404 logs, your language selection, and aggregate video or animation engagement. This is handled through Plausible Analytics, an EU-hosted analytics service that does not use cookies for this tier.
Only if you accept our cookie banner, we additionally recognize repeat visits from the same browser; remember which case studies or pages you've viewed across visits; note how often you return to pages related to pricing; keep a history of which calls-to-action you've clicked; and, if you start filling out a form but don't finish it, record which field you stopped at — never what you had typed into it. If you go on to submit a form, this browsing history is linked to that enquiry in our internal system; until then, it is not tied to your identity.
4. What we do not do
We do not use device or browser fingerprinting; we do not record your screen, mouse movements or keystrokes; we do not purchase third-party "intent data" about you or your company; we do not run any tracking script before you have accepted our cookie banner; and we do not store your full IP address indefinitely — see Section 2 and Section 6 for the specific retention periods that apply.
5. How we use your information
We use the information above to respond to your enquiry, evaluate a submitted project, schedule and manage any appointment you request, detect and prevent fraudulent or duplicate submissions, and understand and improve how our website is used.
6. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and process your information on our behalf: Resend, to deliver our emails; Cloudflare R2, to store submitted files and backups securely; and Plausible Analytics, for the aggregate analytics described in Section 3. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
7. How long we keep it
The IP address attached to a project submission is kept for one year and then permanently removed, while the rest of your submission is retained as part of our business records. Aggregate Tier A analytics is anonymous and not tied to you personally, so we retain it indefinitely in aggregate form to understand long-term trends. Tier B analytics — the behavioral data collected only after you accept our cookie banner — is retained for up to two years from collection, or until you withdraw your consent, whichever comes first.
8. Private project presentations
From time to time we send an individually-addressed, password-protectable presentation page to a specific recipient about a specific project. These pages are not part of the general public website, are not indexed by search engines, and are governed by separate terms communicated to the recipient directly rather than by this policy.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, to object to certain uses of it, or to withdraw any consent you've given us. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@dorneon.com.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
11. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
